June 14th – August 20th
6:30am – 5:55pm

School’s out for summer and it’s time for our bright, hardworking kids to rest their minds by letting loose and having fun! And that’s what we intend to do. Our summer agenda is packed full of games, crafts, outdoor activities, water play, special guests and plenty of exciting fieldtrips.

We split the summer into five themed camps, two weeks each. Each camp consists of a day at the pool and a day of outdoor water play with slip & slides, water slides, an assortment of water toys, games, and activities. Also, every Thursday we go on a fieldtrip. We have ten fieldtrips all together; two per camp. Then, on Wednesday our groups take turns going to Regal Movie Theater for a show after lunch. The group that stays behind participates in Bible Club. Bible Club is a fun and exciting way to learn about our Lord and his love for us with stories, music, dancing, games and crafts.

There is never a dull moment at Isle of Faith! To capture these moments, the teachers are always taking snap shots of the kids and the fun they’re having. Every Friday the kids get together, collect the pictures of their favorite moments and create their very own summer camp scrap book. A scrap book to look back at for years to come of all the friends we made and the fun times we had. Join us at Isle of Faith, Summer Camp 2010. You don’t want to miss it!

  Camp Descriptions:

  1. Camp Anything Goes:  June 14th - June 25th

It’s summer time again and Anything Goes. We’ll start it off right with a trip to Ollie Koala's. For the first two weeks of summer there will be plenty to do. We'll spend an afternoon at the pool and another full day of water play here at IOF> In between the water fun there will be crafts and games to do. To top it all off, we'll spend a day in St. Augustine. First we'll visit the Ripley's Museum, and then lunch in the new visitors' indoor cafeteria. After we're full and rested, we'll take a relaxing train ride to the waters edge and meet up on the top deck of the Scenic CCruise Boat to enjoy the sites of St. Augustine from the river view.

  1. Camp Animal Planet:  June 28th – July 9th

How can you have a summer without animals? We never do. Wild Wonders Animal Show will be onsite to give our summer friends an up close, hands-on experience with many furry and scaly critters. We'll also have two days of water fun, water activities with slides, and then a day at the pool. Also, we'll take off to TNT Gymnastics & Fitness to release some of our energy by playing on an enormous trampoline, a running & tumbling obstacle, with a rope laddr, a roller belly scooting relay, balancing act on balance beams, and we can't forget the kids favorite activity, diving into the Gigantic Blue Sponge Pit playing hide and seek. The kids won't want to miss it!

  1. Camp Funtastic:   July 12th – July 23rd

At this age summer time is all about having fun, and that's what we intend to do in Camp Funtastic. To start it off right, we'll head off to Sun Shine Park and play all day, two days of water fun with slippery slides, and a day at the pool. But the fun is not over yet. Pump It Up, here we come. We'll be having a funtastic day of jumping, bouncing, and crazy summer time fu. Also, on both Wednesdays and Fridays, bring your bike, skates, or skateboard, along with your safety gear, and we'll head over to Alimacani and spend the day showing off what we can do. We'll have a funtastic time!

  1. Camp Science-N-Stuff:  July 26th –  Aug. 6th

Science isn't just for school; science can be fun and cool. The Mad Science of Jacksonville Show will be at IOF doing hands-on science experiements. Each child will be able to participate and have a souvenir to take home and share. Also, two days of water fun with a day at the pool and a day of water slide fun. At the end of the 2nd week we go to Jax Ice Skating Rink. The Ice Skating field trip is one of our kids favorite places to go. But don't worry, for our beginniers and first-time skates we have special "skating walkers' to keep them up on the ice. They always have the time of their lives!

  1. Camp Soaking Wet:  August 9th –  August 20th

Summer's coming to an end and school is just around the bend. But it's not over yet, so we'll spend it Soakin' Wet. Not only will we have our day at the pool, we'll have a Water Day Extravaganze and a cookout too; with two big water slides, water toys, water games, and water relays. Lunch outside from the grill, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and dip, and a watermelon we can't forget. It's a Soaking Wet party that lasts all day. We will also spend a day at Diamond D Ranch to see the animals, feed the cows, and take a horse back ride. Last but not least, we take a trip to Beach Bowl where the kids love to play. They'll put their bowling shoes on and strike, strike, strike away!
